Weather Wins Again; LumberKings and Snappers Postponed

Clinton, IA - The finale between the LumberKings and Snappers has been postponed due to rain at Ashford University Field.

The postponement is the seventh for the LumberKings in the last 12 days. Clinton started the home stand with a doubleheader against Wisconsin after Thursday and Friday's games were washed out. The LumberKings will have to play a doubleheader in Wisconsin in early May due to the Timber Rattlers not returning to Clinton in the first half.

Beloit does return to Clinton in the first half, setting up another doubleheader for the LumberKings. Clinton has already played eight doubleheader games, the most in the Midwest League. The Snappers return for a three-game series from May 14-16. The two teams will play a doubleheader on May 14 at Ashford University Field.

The LumberKings hit the road for a six-game trip to Lake County and Fort Wayne. The series with the Captains begins Thursday at 5:30 PM CT in Eastlake, OH. All games can be heard on AM-1390 KCLN and at www.lumberkings.com.
