
Cougars, Chiefs Postponed

GENEVA, Ill. - Tuesday's series finale between the Kane County Cougars and Peoria Chiefs has been postponed due to the potential of consistent rain expected to coincide with the ballgame. The two squads will make up the contest as part of a day-night doubleheader on Thursday, May 16, at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark.
Game one of the day-night doubleheader will be at 11:30 a.m. while game two will take place that evening at 6:30. The Cougars will next take the field in Fort Wayne on Thursday night at 6:05 central time with right-hander Lendy Castillo expected to get the start.
The Cougars will return to Fifth Third Bank Ballpark on Wednesday, May 1, to take on the Bowling Green Hot Rods at 6:30. For tickets, please call (630) 232-8811 or visit www.kccougars.com.
