Taylor Rogers Promoted to Fort Myers

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Minnesota Twins announce today that LHP Taylor Rogers has been promoted to the Fort Myers Miracle of the Florida State League. Brad Steil, Director of Minor League Operations for the Twins, announced the move.

Rogers made three starts for the Kernels, posting an 0-1 record and 7.20 ERA, allowing 12 runs (eight earned) on 14 hits, walking four and striking out 10 over 10 IP.

With today's transaction, the Kernels roster is at 24 active players, one below the MWL maximum of 25, with one player currently on the disabled list.

The Kernels were postponed today against the Burlington Bees and that game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, May 15th starting at 5:30 pm at Perfect Game Field in Cedar Rapids.

They begin a six game home stand on Thursday, April 25th with games against Great Lakes and Lansing.
