
Amateur Baseball at Dow Diamond Begins on Wednesday

MIDLAND, Mich. - Beginning on Wednesday, April 24, Dow Diamond will be hosting several amateur baseball games while the Great Lakes Loons hit the road during the months of April and May. Tomorrow's game between Gladwin High School and Coleman High School is the first of 26 amateur games.
Other high school baseball teams such as Bay City Western, Midland High, Troy Athens and Bullock Creek will all grace the field at Dow Diamond. Listed below is the full schedule of games, all dates and times are subject to change.

"One of our goals is to make Dow Diamond available for as many community events as we can," said Great Lakes Loons President and General Manager Paul Barbeau. "We're excited to host a large number of amateur teams once again this year and allow some of the area's younger baseball talent to enjoy the ballpark."
Centrally located in downtown Midland, beautiful Dow Diamond is the home field for the Great Lakes Loons and is one of the region's premiere special events facilities. Dow Diamond is owned by the Michigan Baseball Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity and non-profit corporation.
