The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Federal Savings Bank, defeated the Kalamazoo Kings 10-7 at Homer Stryker Field in Kalamazoo, MI Wednesday evening. The Wild Things have won five consecutive games.

Heading into the bottom of the ninth the Wild Things held an eight run lead, but Kalamazoo shocked Washington, scoring five runs, and threatening to take the game into extra innings.
