QUÉBEC, CANADA - Brac Warren hurled his second consecutive quality start to lead the Tri-City ValleyCats (49-31) to a 4-1 victory over the Québec Capitales (50-29) at Stade Canac on Wednesday.

The ValleyCats set the tone early by scoring all four of their runs in their first inning. Ryan Sandberg issued a walk to Cito Culver. Jakob Goldfarb then singled, which moved Culver to second. Oscar Campos laced an RBI single. Ian Walters belted a three-run homer to provide Tri-City with a 4-0 lead. It was his 10th homer of the 2023 campaign..

Québec got on the board in the seventh. David Glaude greeted Blake Workman with a triple, and Marc-Antoine Lebreux picked up an RBI single to cut the deficit to 4-1. Workman collected his third save after settling in, retiring nine of the last 10 hitters he faced, and tossing a season-high three innings.
