Walleye Winter Brewfest Is Back

TOLEDO, OH-- The second a nnual Toledo Walleye Winter Brewfest is set for Saturday, January 9, 2016, from 5-9 p.m. at the Mud Hens ballpark. Tickets for the event go on sale tomorrow, Friday, October 9 at 10 a.m.

Beer enthusiasts will get to sample a wide variety of craft beers from more than 40 breweries while enjoying live music and having fun on the main concourse of the ballpark.

The outdoor celebration of beer and winter will be just one of the many events taking place during Winterfest. Winterfest is an annual community-wide celebration showcasing all the many activities taking place around the Toledo region from December 26 through January 9, 2016.

Advanced tickets are $35, $45 the day of the event. It includes 15 taste tickets each good for a 3-ounce beer sample, as well as a souvenir beer sampling cup. Additional taste tickets and food will be available for purchase on the main concourse. Gates open at 5 p.m. for general admission ticket holders.

VIP tickets are $55, with gates opening at 4 p.m. VIP ticket holders will enter through the suite level doors at Washington and Huron. That includes 20 taste tickets, as well as a buffet and exclusive beer samplings from 4-6 p.m. in the club level of the ballpark. Tickets for designated drivers will be $25.
