Walleye Reel in Clarke from San Francisco

(Toledo, OH) - Toledo has acquired forward Aaron Clarke from the San Francisco Bulls in exchange for forward Ryan Flanigan.

Clarke started the year with the Kalamazoo Wings before being dealt to San Francisco on Sunday, and has not appeared in a game for the Bulls. The 31 year old forward posted four goals and five assists in 25 contests with the K-Wings. The Peterborough, Ontario native has skated in 323 games in the ECHL over his career with 99 goals and 143 assists. Last year, he skated in 72 games with the Kwings, leading them in scoring with 56 points (19G, 37A). The 5'9", 175 pound forward has also skated in the ECHL for Stockton and Wheeling, plus 32 games in the American Hockey League with Albany, Providence and Binghamton.

Prior to turning professional, Clarke spent two years with Niagara University and two more with Robert Morris University. He had 63 points (27g, 37a) during his four years in the NCAA.

Flanigan appeared in four games with the Walleye since being acquired from Wheeling on December 20,, 2013. He had a goal and two assists during his time with Toledo.
