Oklahoma City -Austin Wates hit a walk-off RBI single for a 3-2 Oklahoma City RedHawks win against the Salt Lake Bees Tuesday in front of a season-high crowd of 10,280 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The RedHawks (23-15) notched their first win of the four-game series against the Bees (19-21) and ended a nine-game losing skid against Salt Lake.
Wates' game-winning hit into right field scored Brett Wallace with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to close an eight-game homestand.
