
Wagner Heads Back to Gulls

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that center Chris Wagner has been reassigned by the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego's National Hockey League affiliate.
Wagner, 24 (5/27/91), was recalled yesterday, Mar. 4, and did not appear in today's contest against the Los Angeles Kings. A native of Walpole, MA, Wagner was claimed on waivers by Anaheim on Feb. 25 after scoring four goals (4-0=4) with 26 penalty minutes (PIM) in 37 games with the Ducks and Avalanche this season. The 6-0, 195-pound forward began the season with Anaheim before being claimed on waivers by Colorado on Nov. 15. Wagner has appeared in five games with San Diego this season, recording 3-1=4 points and a +3 rating.
