Coyotes Recall Langhamer and Assign Treutle to Falcons

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled goalie Marek Langhamer and assigned goalie Niklas Treutle to the Springfield Falcons.

The 21-year-old Langhamer posted a 6-6-1 record with a .885 save percentage (SV%) and 3.52 goals against average (GAA) in 13 games with Springfield. The Moravska Trebova, Czech Republic native also played in eight games with Rapid City (ECHL) posting a 5-2-1 record with a .935 SV% and a 2.23 GAA.

Langhamer spent the three previous seasons with Medicine Hat (WHL) registering a career record of 82-53-10 in 149 games which includes playoffs. He was drafted by the Coyotes in the seventh round (184th overall) in the 2012 Entry Draft.

The 24-year-old Treutle went 0-1-0 with a .750 SV% in two games with the Coyotes.

The Falcons return to the MassMutual Center tomorrow for a 5:00 p.m. game against the Syracuse Crunch. Following the game is the free open skate for all fans in attendance.
