
Viramontes Transferred to Rookie-Helena, Bradley Reports, Added to Active Roster

PEARL, MS - The Milwaukee Brewers have announced the following roster moves that affect the Shuckers roster prior to today's 5:00 p.m. game against the Mississippi Braves at Trustmark Park.
Martin Viramontes, RHP, has been transferred to the (R) Helena roster. (6/14)
Jed Bradley, LHP, has reported and is officially added to Biloxi's roster. (6/14) will wear jersey #43 and in uniform for today's game
Viramontes, 25, has appeared in 15 games out of the bullpen for the Shuckers this season, posting no record and an 8.68 ERA (18 ER/18.1 IP) with 15 walks and nine strikeouts. Viramontes has a career 5.11 ERA in 81 games and four starts in four professional seasons. The Los Angeles, CA native was Milwaukee's 28th round selection in 2012 out of the University of Southern California.
Bradley, 25, who turned 25-years-old on Friday made 20 appearances, one start with Triple-A Colorado Springs this season posting a 2-4 record, with a 9.00 ERA (26 ER/26 IP) with 10 walks and 15 strikeouts. The Huntsville, AL native went a combined 10-10 with a 3.91 ERA in 27 starts (64 ER/147.1 IP) between Class-A Brevard County and Double-A Huntsville in 2014 and was a Florida State League midseason All-Star.
Bradley pitched at Georgia Tech for three seasons and earned Second Team All-ACC honors twice (2010 and 2011).....was a 2010 Cape Cod League All-Star while pitching for the Wareham Gateman. He was rated the fourth-best prospect in the Cape Cod League according to Baseball America that same summer. Bradley attended Eisenhower (MI) High School for two years before moving back to Huntsville, AL, where he graduated from Huntsville High School. Bradley was Milwaukee's first round selection, 15th overall in the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft. Bradley was teammates in 2011 at Georgia Tech with current Biloxi outfielder Kyle Wren.
The Shuckers can clinch the Southern League first half title with a win today over the Mississippi Braves at Trustmark Park. The Shuckers are 38-24 and hold a 5 1/2 game lead over the Braves in the South standings. The magic number is two. RHP Brooks Hall (6-3, 3.47) will battle RHP Jason Hursh (2-4, 5.18). First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., with coverage beginning at 4:45 p.m. on 1240-AM WGCM, 1580-AM WPMO and the Biloxi Shuckers Radio Network.
