June 14, 2015 - Southern League (SL1)
Montgomery Biscuits News Release

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - For the first time all season, the Biscuits (33-30) have won six games in a row after another victory (5-2) over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (23-39) on Sunday night at Riverwalk Stadium.

Jaime Schultz (5-3) struck out seven over five innings of work to notch his fifth win of the season, and Montgomery showcased their power on the offensive side of things launching three homeruns on the night with Justin O'Conner hitting his fifth and Johnny Field, Jr. his ninth and tenth-both two-run shots.

Colton Reavis, Matt Lollis and Bryce Stowell combined to go five scoreless-innings out of the Biscuits bullpen. Stowell picked up his sixth save of the season.

Pensacola starter Robert Stephenson (3-6) did not have his best stuff, walking six in just four innings of work, surrendering three runs, and the Blue Wahoos lost their Southern League-worst 39th game of the year.

The Biscuits will try to extend their winning streak to a season-high seven games on Monday afternoon when Blake Snell (4-1) takes on Daniel Wright (2-4) with first pitch slated for 12:05 PM at Riverwalk.
