BOISE, Idaho - For the second time in as many nights the Rio Grande Valley Vipers surrendered a lead inside 30 seconds and did not score with a chance to win inside regulation only to fall in overtime. Wednesday night the Vipers were outscored 19-7 in the extra session as the Idaho Stampede scored a D-League record 165 points knocking off RGV 165-153 at Qwest Arena. The previous record of 155 points was set by Idaho head coach Bob Mackinnon's Colorado 14ers last season.

To say Wednesday night was on offensive clinic would be an understatement. The Vipers tied a D-League record by scoring 84 points in the first half on Wednesday night. Will Conroy's three point play with 6:46 remaining in the half gave RGV a 10 point lead, their largest before the intermission. The Vipers led at half time 84-79.

In the second half Idaho rallied in the second half. Joe Dabbert's free throws at nine minute mark of fourth quarter gave the Stampede their first second half lead. The Vipers and Stampede would trade the lead six times in the fourth quarter alone.

Ernest Scott hit two free throws with 14 seconds remaining in regulation to give RGV a 146-143 lead which appeared to ice a win. However, after an Idaho timeout Mildon Ambres hit a right-wing three- pointer from 28 feet out tying the game at 146 with just over four seconds remaining. Will Conroy's runner in the lane to end regulation was blocked by Donell Taylor sending the game into overtime.

Antonio Anderson scored a career high 37 points to lead the offensive output for the Vipers while adding five rebounds and eight assists to his stat line. Conroy and Scott each had 30 points with the former dishing out seven helpers. Scott, in his first game against his former team, hit seven of his 13 three point attempts. Jonathan Wallace tied a career high with 19 points before fouling out.

Andre Barrett scored a game high 42 points to pace the Stampede, dishing out 11 assists in the process. Barrett was one of five Idaho players who tallied double-doubles. Taylor scored 34 with 13 boards, Ambres scored 32 with 12 rebounds and Coby Karl scored 27 points with 12 boards. Joe Dabbert also tallied double-digits in two categories scoring 21 and hauling in 12. Idaho has already been eliminated from post-season contention.

The Vipers return home this weekend to finish out the regular season with back to back games Friday and Saturday at State Farm Arena against the Dakota Wizards. Friday's tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
