
Vipers Fall to Clippers Despite Late Push

EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (24-9) fell 110-105 to the Agua Caliente Clippers (21-11) on Wednesday night at the Bert Ogden Arena.
Houston Rockets Two-Way player Anthony Lamb finished the night with 27 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Marcus Foster totaled 20 points, four rebounds and five assists. Tyler Bey came off the bench to obtain 13 points and seven rebounds. Christian Vital hit 12 points, four assists and five steals. Mfiondu Kabengele reached a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
The Clippers Jordan Ford led the game with 31 points and six rebounds. Nate Darling followed with 24 points, six rebounds and six assists. Shevon Thompson obtained a double-double with 16 points and 18 rebounds. Emmitt Williams scored 14 points from off the bench. Trevon Scott hit 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
RGV returns to the Bert Ogden Arena Saturday, April 2 for the last regular game of the season and a rematch against the Agua Caliente Clippers. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM CT.
