
Villalobos and Bats Help Florence to Fifth Consecutive Win

WASHINGTON, Penn. - In a low scoring affair, the Florence Y'alls came out on top over the Washington Wild Things on Tuesday night at, the final score 7-2.
For the Y'alls, the pitching was phenomenal. Jonaiker Villalobos started the ball game and went 6.1 Innings strong, allowing just four hits and walking one to earn his first win of the season. The bullpen did its job as well. Andrew McDonald went 1.2 innings allowing two runs. In the ninth, Johnathan Tripp shut the door with a 1-2-3 inning.
Offensively for Florence, it started in the first inning. Trevor Craport doubled in the first run of the night, his 24th RBI of the year.
In the fourth inning it was Jackson Pritchard driving in a run on a sacrifice fly to left.
Will Baker in the sixth picked up an RBI as well, driving in one with a perfectly placed bunt down the first base line, scoring Craport.
Leading 3-2 in the ninth, the Y'alls blew the doors open with RBI knocks from Taylor Bryant, Luisi Pintor, Chad Sedio and Trevor Craport, making it 7-2. Florence would not look back.
Florence will take on the Wild Things again tomorrow night at 7:05. (Wheeler vs Osby)
