
Veilleux Returns to Iowa

Des Moines, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Tuesday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned forward Stephane Veilleux (pronounced steph-AWN vay-OOH) to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Veilleux, 32 (11/16/81), totaled one goal in two games since being recalled from Iowa Feb. 26. He's posted two goals and 19 PIM in 27 games with Minnesota this season and 11 points (4-711) and 19 PIM in 27 games with Iowa. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound native of St. Georges de Beauce, Que., has recorded 103 points (48-55103) and 336 PIM in 487 NHL games with Minnesota, Tampa Bay and New Jersey.
The team remains on a five-game road trip with two stops in Grand Rapids and one in Milwaukee prior to returning home on Sunday, Mar. 16 at 5:05 p.m. to host San Antonio. Fans may purchase the Subway Family Four Pack for Sunday's game, which includes: four hot dogs, four sodas and four tickets, starting at $44. Sunday's game marks the beginning of a six-game homestand. The team also welcomes Texas, Grand Rapids and Charlotte over the home stretch.
