Claesson Suspended for One Game

BINGHAMTON, NY - The American Hockey League announced today that Binghamton Senators defenseman Fredrik Claesson has been suspended for one game as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at St. John's on March 1.

Claesson was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Claesson will miss Binghamton's game this Saturday, March 8 versus Utica.
