Coyotes Recall Rundblad from Conditioning Assignment

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled defenseman David Rundblad from his conditioning assignment with the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.

The 23-year-old Rundblad has recorded 0-1-1 with six penalty minutes (PIM) in 12 games with the Coyotes this season. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound native of Lycksele, Sweden has registered 1-8-9 and 12 PIM in 50 career NHL games.

Rundblad was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (17th overall) in the 2009 Entry Draft.
