Tri-City ValleyCats News Release
Troy, NY-The Tri-City ValleyCats will broadcast Friday and Saturday's crucial games vs. their Stedler Division rivals, the Lowell Spinners (Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox) at 7:00 pm on channel TW3. The production is a joint effort between the ValleyCats in-house video department and Time Warner Cable of Albany. This marks the first local television broadcast of a baseball game at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.
"We are delighted to bring this to our fans and look forward to expanding our television coverage in the '06 season. We also wish to Time Warner for all their efforts." said R.C. Reuteman, ValleyCats Vice President/General Manager.
Presently the Spinners are 1.5 games behind the league-leading Oneonta Tigers while the ValleyCats (4.5 games out), remain very much alive following the current 4 game win streak against the Vermont Expos.
