The Staten Island Yankees continued their 2005 domination of the Williamsport Crosscutters on Wednesday night with a 4-3 win in Staten Island. The Yanks have beaten Williamsport 7 out of 8 games this season and increased their McNamara Division lead to 5 games in front of Williamsport. Two of the four Yankee runs were unearned as the Cutters committed four errors. 2B Jermel Lomack was 2-for-5 with 2 stolen bases giving him a team-leading 11 swipes on the season in just his 8th game for Williamsport. The Cutters now head to Brooklyn for a 2-game series against the Cyclones. Williamsport is a perfect 6-0 against Brooklyn in â05.
