USA Hockey Selects Five Fargo Force Players for U.S. Junior Select Team

FARGO, ND - USA Hockey announced this morning the 22-man roster for the U.S. Junior Select Team that will compete at the World Junior A Challenge Nov. 8-14 in Penticton, B.C.. The tournament includes teams from Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States and two teams from Canada (East and West). Five players from the Fargo Force have been selected for the 2010 U.S. roster, including one defenseman, three forwards and one goaltender. All 22 players currently compete in the United States Hockey League, the nation's only tier one junior hockey league. Fargo Force has the most players on the roster at five with Sioux City Musketeers and Cedar Rapids each with four players a piece. The following five players were selected:

The players will miss six Fargo Force games (three home and three away) due to their participation in the week long tournament. All five players along with Head Coach Jason Herter will be available for interviews and comments tomorrow at Scheels arena following practice between 3:45-4:00 PM.
