CHARLESTON, WV - After having two of their three games rained out in Lexington, Kentucky, from May 29-31, the Power have announced that they will make up one of those postponements in West Virginia during the team's upcoming series with the Lexington Legends from June 5-7 at Appalachian Power Park. Tuesday's series opener will now be a doubleheader, with first pitch of game one set for 5:05 p.m.
Tickets for Tuesday's twin bill are available for purchase by calling the Power at 304-344-BATS or by going online to wvpower.com. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, and Rock 105 Two for Tuesday specials will remain in effect, including two-for-one concession specials and 16-ounce beer cans.
The Power and the Legends will now play four games in three days in Charleston. Tuesday's doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning affairs, with game two starting about 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Pregame coverage begins at 4:45 p.m. on The Jock 1300 and 1340 AM, as well as online at www.wvpower.com and via the TuneIn Radio App and MiLB First Pitch App.
