Long Island Ducks News Release
(Central Islip, N.Y., June 19, 2014) - The Long Island Ducks today announced that July 1, 5, 6, 7 and 8 will be "Unused Ticket Days" at Bethpage Ballpark. If you could not make it out to a ballgame during the 2014 season so far and are still in possession of your unused tickets, the club is offering fans the chance to exchange them for ones of equal or lesser value at the Bethpage Ballpark Box Office, subject to availability.
"With pennant fever continuing to heat up in the first half, Ducks baseball is more exciting than ever this season," says Ducks president and general manager Michael Pfaff. "This is a great opportunity to utilize unused tickets from earlier this season and enjoy a great summer night in July with friends and family."
Ticket holders interested in trading in their unused tickets can do so by visiting the Bethpage Ballpark box office. Tickets can be exchanged for games on July 1 against the Bridgeport Bluefish, July 5 or 6 against the Camden Riversharks or July 7 and 8 against the Sugar Land Skeeters. First pitch for all of those games is set for 7:05 p.m., with the exception of the Sunday, July 6 game against Camden, which begins at 5:05 p.m. A one dollar fee per ticket will be applied to account for the Suffolk County surcharge on all tickets printed.
Highlights for the unused ticket day games include:
July 1 - Irish night at the ballpark, with the first 1,500 fans receiving Commemorative Cups, courtesy of Shandon Court
July 5 - Catch the Ducks hosting Liberty Division rivals Camden in the final series of the first half of the season
