
2014 All Star Voting Underway

(Central Islip, N.Y., June 19, 2014) - Atlantic League officials have announced that fan balloting for the 2014 Atlantic League All-Star Game is now underway. The league's 17th Midsummer Classic will be played at Constellation Field, the home of the Sugar Land Skeeters, on Wednesday, July 16 at 8:05 p.m.
Voting for the 2014 All-Star Game will run through Tuesday, July 1, and fans can cast their ballots online by CLICKING HERE . This year, there will be a new format in the All-Star Game: the Sugar Land Skeeters vs. the Atlantic League All-Stars.
Fans can vote for position players who will represent the seven other Atlantic League organizations, while coaches, management and media will determine the pitchers. Fans will also have the opportunity to "write-in" a candidate for each division.
Last season, the Ducks had five players representing the Liberty Division at the All-Star Game, which was played at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, Md.
