PEARL, MS -- Mississippi Braves OF Cedric Hunter and INF Joe Leonard have been activated from the disabled list. In corresponding moves, OF Robby Hefflinger was placed on the disabled list with a left wrist sprain retroactive to April 30. LHP Ronan Pacheco was also reassigned to High-A Lynchburg from Double-a Mississippi.

Hunter, 26, was placed on the DL with a strained left hamstring April 25. He was hitting .250 in 18 games with the M-Braves this season. He had three doubles, a triple and two home runs. The Georgia native signed as a minor league free agent with the Atlanta Braves on January 24, 2014. Hunter was originally selected 2006 as a third-round draft pick by the San Diego Padres.

Leonard, 25, was placed on the DL with a right oblique strain April 25. He was hitting .224 in 15 games for the M-Braves this season. He spent the 2013 season at Triple-A Gwinnett where he posted a .230 average with 22 doubles, three triples and 35 RBI in 119 games. Leonard was selected by the Braves in the third round of the 2010 draft out of the University of Pittsburgh.

Hefflinger, 24, had a .119 average with three doubles, a triple and three RBI in 18 games for the M-Braves. He was named Home Run Derby Champion and MVP of the California-Carolina League All-Star Game last season. Hefflinger was selected by the Braves in the seventh round of the 2009 draft out of Georgia Perimeter.

Pacheco, 25, was 2-1 with a 10.80 ERA in nine relief appearances for the M-Braves this season. All 10 runs came in two of the nine games. His other seven appearances were scoreless. A native of the Dominican Republic, Pacheco was signed by the Braves as a non-drafted free agent on February 17, 2008.

The Mississippi roster has 25 active players and 3 disabled.
