
Two Mammoth players added to All-Star roster

DENVER - The National Lacrosse League announced on Wednesday that Colorado Mammoth defenseman Bruce Murray and transition player Josh Sims have been named reserves for the West Division All-Star team.
The 2008 NLL All-Star Game will be played at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, on Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m. Mountain time.
Sims will make his second consecutive appearance in the All-Star Game, while Murray will be making his first All-Star appearance.
"I'm very happy for our players," Mammoth general manager Steve Govett said. "We have five players going to the All-Star Game and they've all worked hard. It's something our entire team can be proud of."
Mammoth forwards Dan Carey and Gavin Prout, and goaltender Gee Nash were named starters for the West All-Stars in an announcement on Monday.
Each All-Star team named 12 reserves on Wednesday in addition to the six starters that were previously announced. West All-Stars head coach Bob Hamley of the Edmonton Rush and assistant coach Walt Christianson of the San Jose Stealth selected nine reserves and three were appointed by the league.
