Green Bay Rockers News Release
OF Boomer White (TCU) and SS Andrew Ely (Washington) have been selected to appear in the Northwoods League All-Star game, which will be held at Carson Park in Eau Claire on Tuesday, July 23.
White leads the Bullfrogs in batting average (.324), hits (44), RBI (26), on-base percentage (.400) and OPS (.885), while also playing as many as three different positions for the Bullfrogs this season. He has been named Northwoods League Player of the Night twice in the past week.
Andrew Ely is no longer with the Bullfrogs due to a quad strain, but will still be recognized as an All-Star after being voted in by coaches and media. During his 21 games with the Bullfrogs, Ely hit .318 with nine RBI during his time with the Bullfrogs while also playing a very reliable shortstop defensively.
The Bullfrogs are a part of the 16-team Northwoods League. The Northwoods League has more fans and more teams than any other summer collegiate baseball league.
