Tuesday Night's Game against Birmingham Suspended Due to Rain

PEARL, MS - Tuesday night's game between the Mississippi Braves and the Birmingham Barons has been suspended due to rain. The M-Braves and the Barons will finish the five-game series in a doubleheader on Wednesday at Trustmark Park.

Tuesday night's game which was suspended in the bottom of the third inning, will resume at 4:30 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, August 1st and will be played as a regulation nine inning contest. Game two of the doubleheader will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one and will be played as a seven inning contest.

Fans with tickets to Tuesday's game will be allowed to exchange their tickets (for tickets of equal or lesser value) for any of the M-Braves remaining regular-season home games. Tickets must be exchanged in person at the Mississippi Braves Box Office. Tickets CANNOT be exchanged over the phone.

Tuesday's game was suspended with the M-Braves batting in the bottom of the third inning and the score knotted at 0-0. The Mississippi Braves captured the series victory over the Birmingham Barons with a 3-0 win on Monday night. The M-Braves currently lead the series 3-0.
