De Paula Returns, Martinez to the DL

Pensacola Blue Wahoos News Release

RHP Rafael De Paula has been transferred back to Pensacola from AAA Louisville. He made one appearance after getting transferred to the Bats on Saturday. He pitched 1.2 innings Monday against Toledo and allowed two runs on three hits. He has posted five straight scoreless outings for the Blue Wahoos and hasn't allowed a run in 13 of his last 14 appearances with Pensacola. He's 2-3 with three saves and a 2.65 ERA.

LHP Juan Martinez has been placed on the disabled list with a low back contusion. He's 1-0 with a 4.71 ERA in 15 games out of the Wahoos bullpen this season.
