MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Brandon Allen belted a two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give the Tucson Padres a come-from-behind 4-2 win over the Memphis Redbirds on Wednesday night at AutoZone Park.

After Fernando Salas (1-2) issued an inning-opening walk to Ben Francisco, Allen lined his 11th big fly over the right field wall.

Outfielder Mike O'Neill went 2-for-4 with a run scored in his Triple-A debut for the Redbirds.

Nick Additon allowed three hits for one run in six innings. The left-hander stuck out four and walked three. His only run allowed came on a solo homer by rehabbing outfielder Cameron Maybin in the fifth.

Memphis struck first in the third inning, beginning with O'Neill's first Triple-A hit. Chad Huffman then lined an RBI double down the left field line.

The Rebirds tacked on their other run in the fifth as Audry Perez led off with a base hit. The backstop moved to second on a sacrifice, advanced to third on an O'Neill single, and scored as Jermaine Curtis grounded out to third base.

Tucson knotted the contest at 2-2 in the eighth. Cody Decker led off with a double off the top of the left field wall. He scored two batters later when Daniel Robertson singled up the middle.

Robert Erlin surrendered two runs on six hits in six innings for a no-decision. Kevin Quackenbush (6-1) held the Redbirds scoreless over the final two frames for the win.

Deryk Hooker allowed one run on two hits in two innings for a blown save.

The Redbirds and Padres continue their series at 7:05 pm CT on Thursday night at AutoZone Park. Right-hander Boone Whiting (4-4, 4.54) will take the mound and face right-hander Matt Andriese (1-4, 4.68). The Redbirds will be giving away Stan "The Man" Musial Statues to the first 3,000 fans.
