Trupp Loaned to the Heat

Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced today that forward Evan Trupp has been loaned to the Heat by the Alaska Aces, the Heat's developmental affiliate in the ECHL.

Trupp, a native of Anchorage, Alaska, has played in 33 games with the Aces this season, recording 30 points (10-20-30) and 18 penalty minutes. This is the first AHL recall of Trupp's career.

The Heat continue their six-game road trip on Wednesday against the Rockford IceHogs (AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks). After the road trip, the Heat will return home and begin an eight-game home stand, starting with the Utica Comets on January 24th and 25th at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre.
