
Red-Hot Bulldogs Host Comets this Saturday

The Hamilton Bulldogs (19-15-0-4) head into one game this weekend as one of the hottest teams in the American Hockey League. The red-hot Bulldogs have won seven of their past eight games and have earned at least a point in eight of their past nine.
On Saturday, January 18th, Hamilton will host the Utica Comets (AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks) at Copps Coliseum at 7:00 p.m. in the only match up the 'Dogs will face this week. The game will be the fourth and final meeting between the two clubs this season.

The Hamilton Bulldogs went a perfect 10-for-10 on the penalty kill, while defenceman Nathan Beaulieu and forward Justin Courtnall scored as the 'Dogs extended their season-high winning streak to six games with a 2-1 victory over the Rochester Americans on Friday evening at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York. With the win, Hamilton also bumped its point streak to a season-best seven games. Dustin Tokarski made 19 saves in the Bulldogs goal in the victory.

Hamilton Bulldogs defenceman Nathan Beaulieu scored a goal, added an assist and defended a teammate who was hit from behind with a fight to complete a 'Gordie Howe Hat Trick' as he led the 'Dogs to a 3-1 victory over the Iowa Wild on Sunday afternoon at Copps Coliseum. The win was Hamilton's seventh in their past eight contests. Dustin Tokarski made 27 saves for the 'Dogs in the win.

DSKATE NIGHT POWERED BY MEDTRONIC IN SUPPORT OF JDRF
Dskate Night on January 18th will be a night devoted to bringing together the Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) hockey community and to raising awareness of T1D, as the Bulldogs take on the Utica Comets at 7:00 p.m. at Copps Coliseum.
In an effort to bring awareness of diabetes to the hockey community, the 'Dogs will be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game in a silent auction with proceeds going to JDRF.
Dskate Night will also feature opportunities to learn about the Dskate Hockey Program and diabetes education partner, Medtronic of Canada Inc., while also offering the opportunity to learn about diabetes and how hockey and T1D go together like a stick and a puck!

Catch Dog Bites on Y108 Thursday, January 16th between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. as Bulldogs forward Justin Courtnall joins the morning show to discuss all things Bulldogs!
HAMILTON BULLDOGS HOCKEY HOUR
Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Hour is an interactive one-hour radio show on AM 900 CHML co-hosted by Hamilton Bulldogs Play-By-Play Announcer Derek Wills and Colour Commentator Al Craig. It consists of segments such as week-in-reviews, week-in-previews and live interviews with Hamilton Bulldogs coaches and players.
During each show, fans have an opportunity to ask guests questions on the air, get autographs and win prizes. The show is hosted at Frank and Teressa's Anchor Bar, located at 2 King Street West inside Jackson Square in Hamilton.
