RHP Tristan Crawford was been added to the Senators roster today and draws the start tonight against the Akron Aeros. RHP Alex Morales was placed on the Disabled List after sustaining an injury during his first appearance of the season.
Crawford, 25, was born in Anchorage, Alaska. He grew up and attended high school near Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and pitched for Team Australia in the 2006 World Baseball Classic. He spent the first eight years of his career in the Minnesota Twins organization and pitched for New Britain in each of the last two seasons. Crawford has a career minor-league record of 31-23 with a 4.25 ERA. He pitched three games at Triple-A Rochester last year, his only action above Double-A.
