ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...
Tonight, the SeaWolves are back at Jerry Uht Park to begin a four-game series with the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates). The 'Wolves are looking to win their third straight game after taking the final two of the Harrisburg series including a shutout win on Wednesday. The 'Wolves longest winning streak of the season was four straight to open the season at Bowie...Erie is in a stretch of 17 games with only four at home. Thus far, the team is 3-3 in that span...The SeaWolves are looking to improve their fortunes at home after going 2-4 during the club's first homestand. In six games vs. Binghamton and Bowie, the three teams combined to score 114 runs...Altoona is 6-4 in the last 10 games and had a three-game win streak snapped yesterday by Akron in a 2-0 loss. The Curve took two of three from Erie at Blair County Ballpark last weekend. In game two of the series, the 'Wolves banged out 13 runs which tied a season-high...Rightie Andrew Kown makes his fourth start of the season and his second against the Curve. He is 1-0 against Altoona after going seven innings, allowing four runs on 11 hits in the 13-4 win on April 18. Kown has registered decisions in all three of his starts this
season and is 0-1 at home...RHP Josh Hill also makes his fourth start of the season and his second against Erie. Hill took a no-decision on April 19 against the 'Wolves going 5.2 innings, allowing a pair of runs on six hits with three walks and four strikeouts. Hill's lone win came on April 14 at Trenton going five scoreless.
