Trio of Aces Recognized by ECHL

The Alaska Aces and ECHL announced on Monday that Aces forwards Wes Goldie and Dan Kissel and goaltender Adam Courchaine have been selected to participate in this weekend's Silver Skater and Golden Goalie Fantasy Team, presented by The MeiGray Group. The Aces host the Las Vegas Wranglers on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in a pivotal, three-game series between the Western Conference Division leaders. Tickets are on sale now. Fans had the opportunity to vote on ECHL.com for up to one player on each ECHL member team's ballot to help select the Silver Skaters for each team. Two players from each member team have been selected to wear the Silver Skater Fantasy Team custom-specialty game-worn jerseys. Goldie and Kissel, who are tied for the team lead and rank second overall in ECHL goal scoring with 28 goals, received the honor for the Aces.

Aces goaltender, Adam Courchaine will also be participating through the Golden Goalie Program. Courchaine will wear a specially designed metallic-gold jersey.

The two forwards and goaltender will wear their specialty jerseys on Saturday night when the Aces host the Wranglers at Sullivan Arena at 7:15pm AKT.

Each of the Silver Skater and Golden Goalie jerseys will be available for bid through The MeiGray Group. The teams participating in the Silver Skater and Golden Goalie program this week will be available for bid starting on Monday, March 5 and running through Thursday, March 22.
