Express Send Romano Back to Bridgeport

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced today that C Anthony Romano has been returned to the Brigeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

Romano, 24, played three games with Chicago over the weekend, and now heads back to the Sound Tigers, where he has played 37 games this season. With the Sound Tigers, he has notched nine points on seven goals and two assists. The Smithtown, NY, native has played in 125 AHL games with 15 goals and 15 assists for 30 points. The 5-11, 185 pound center has also dressed for 46 ECHL games with Utah and Toledo, notching 36 points (15g, 21a) and 54 PIM.

The Express return to the Sears Centre Arena on Saturday, February 25, and Sunday, February 26, both against the Florida Everblades. Saturday is Athletico Night at the Sears Centre Arena, and on Sunday, all fans in attendance are invited to skate with the team after the game.
