Trey Fix-Wolansky Signs Entry Level Contract with Blue Jackets

(Edmonton, AB) - The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed Edmonton Oil Kings captain Trey Fix-Wolansky to a three-year entry level contract, the Club announced on Friday.

Fix-Wolansky, 19, was selected by the Blue Jackets in the seventh round (204th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft. The Edmonton, Alberta native currently leads the Oil Kings in team scoring (37G, 64A = 101 points), and is tied for fourth in the WHL scoring race.

The 5-foot-7, 188-pound winger surpassed the 200-career regular season point mark earlier this season, and set a new Oil Kings single season record in assists (64).
