At the gate, the Silvertips - who earned last season's Western Conference Marketing and Business Award - have experienced a 13 percent increase in home attendance over the last two years, and this season had 11 sellouts in downtown Everett, totaling 32 percent of their entire home schedule.

"This season carries tremendous value for our on-ice success and persistent journey to find new and renewed ways of connecting with our fans, and we salute all of Silvertip Country for playing a monumental role in surpassing three million fans through the turnstiles."

Their last meeting a home, before a standing room only crowd of 8,387 fans on Mar. 2, raised nearly $11,000 for Navy Night which benefited local Navy community efforts from tickets, merchandise, and Tip-A-Tip held on Feb. 19 at all El Paraiso Mexican Grill locations.

The Silvertips have drawn 6,600 fans or more to downtown Everett over the last five home games, and over the course of each season have scheduled community fundraising events such as Pink The Rink, Teddy Bear Toss, Local Heroes Night, and more.

This Saturday, the Silvertips will host Fan Appreciation Night at 7:05 p.m. against Victoria which will offer free Silvertips team photos to the first 3,000 fans in attendance (Mountain Pacific Bank), while each fan in attendance will be entered to win over $10,000 in prizes. After the final horn, all fans will be invited to stay for the Silvertips annual team awards ceremony.

On Feb. 9, the Silvertips clinched their 16th consecutive playoff berth, the longest streak (current) in the WHL and earned their seventh division title in franchise history one day after their 1-0 overtime win over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Mar. 2. Over the course of 16 seasons, fans have enjoyed 19 players from the Silvertips who have moved onto play in the National Hockey League, and 22 players who have been selected by clubs in the NHL Entry Draft.

The Silvertips return to play tonight to finish the regular season with a home-and-home series which begins on the road, 7:05pm in Victoria (KRKO / WHL Live / TuneIn app).
