
Trevor Reckling activated from DL; Jose Perez assigned to Extended Spring

The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announce today that LHP Trevor Reckling has been activated from the disabled list and RHP Jose Perez has been assigned to Extended Spring Training.
Reckling was placed on the DL on May 22 with a left triceps strain. He is scheduled to start tomorrow's home game against the Kane County Cougars at 2 pm from Dale and Thomas Popcorn Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Perez made one start for the Kernels and posted an 0-1 record and 9.00 ERA in five innings pitched.
With today's transactions, the Kernels roster stands at 25 active players with one player on the disabled list. The Kernels return to Dale and Thomas Popcorn Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Sunday, June 1st and opens an eight game series with games against Kane County and Burlington.
