
Flores joins Whitecaps

West Michigan Whitecaps News Release
Catcher Angel Flores was added to the Whitecaps roster from extended spring training. Flores was signed by the Tigers as a non-drafted free agent on Oct. 20, 2004 and is in his third season of professional baseball. He hit .224 (19-for-85) with seven RBI in 31 games with short-season Oneonta last year.
The Whitecaps active roster stands at 25. Flores will wear #27.
