
Trenton to play DH at Binghamton

(Trenton, NJ)- The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, have announced that the Thunder and the Binghamton Mets (Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets) will play a double-header at NYSEG Stadium on Saturday June 20th. The first game of the double-header will start at 5:05 p.m. and both games will be seven-inning contests.
The doubleheader has been scheduled because Trenton and Binghamton were only able to play four of the five scheduled games in a series at NYSEG Stadium 5/14-5/17. Trenton's trip to NYSEG Stadium 6/19-6/21 is its last trip to Binghamton this season.
Trenton and Akron play the middle game of a three-game series on Wednesday night at Waterfront Park. Trenton's Starting Pitcher is TBD. Akron's Starting Pitcher is RHP Hector Rondon (5-1, 1.95). Game time is slated for 7:05 p.m.
