
Travs Rained Out Again Tuesday

NORTH LITTLE ROCK - Tuesday's game between the Arkansas Travelers and Tulsa Drillers has been postponed due to heavy rain. It will be made up on Wednesday, May 6 as part of a doubleheader beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Dickey-StephensPark. The announcement was made by Travelers General Manager Pete Laven at 7:30 p.m. The Travs have been rained out four times during the season's first month, and three games have been postponed in the last five days.
The Travs plan on using right hander Amalio Diaz in game one against Tulsa righty Esmil Rogers. In the second game right hander Trevor Bell will pitch, while the Drillers will announce their second game starter after game one.
Gates for the May 6 doubleheader will open at 5:00 p.m.
