Springfield Cardinals News Release
Tuesday's game between the Springfield Cardinals and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at Hammons Field has been postponed due to continuous rain showers with even more expected throughout the evening. Tuesday's game will be made up as part of a double-header on Wednesday, with first pitch of game one scheduled for 12:10pm.
Tickets from the May 5th game against the Northwest Arkansas may be exchanged for any remaining regular season game during the 2009 season (subject to availability). Tickets must be mailed or presented in person to the Gate 1 Ticket Office, anytime during the remainder of the 2009 season in order to receive tickets to another game. Don't forget that your first-place Springfield Cardinals are home for the next three days, here at Hammons Field. Coming up tomorrow, it's day baseball, as your Redbirds are in action at 12:10pm against Northwest Arkansas in a double-header. Brandon Dickson (1-1) is now scheduled to throw on Tuesday afternoon, taking on Naturals' right-hander Blake Wood (1-0). No starters have been named for game two.
On Friday it's another AM Pyrotechnics Friday Night Fireworks Spectacular, with game time scheduled for 7:10pm.
