Tulsa, OK - The Tulsa Drillers overcame two different two-run deficits en route to an 8-6 win over the Arkansas Travelers on Friday night at ONEOK Field.

The Travs led 2-0 and 6-4, but the Drillers countered both Arkansas run-scoring innings with big frames of their own.

Tulsa belted four home runs in the game.

Arkansas has not hit a home run in 88 straight innings.

Travs starter RHP Blayne Weller (L, 1-5) surrendered all four home runs and allowed seven runs on eight hits with two walks and four strikeouts.

RHP Trevor Oaks (W, 3-1), who got the nod for Tulsa, was also roughed up. He allowed all six Travs runs on eight hits with one walk and no strikeouts.

RHP Tim Shibuya tossed three one-hit shutout innings in relief of Oaks.

LHP Grant Dayton (S, 1) struck out the side in order in the ninth inning to earn his first save with the Drillers.

Travs RF Cal Towey finished 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in the loss.

The four Tulsa home runs were hit by CF Andrew Toles in the first, 2B Willie Calhoun in the fourth, and both SS Brandon Trinkwon and LF Jacob Scavuzzo in the fifth.

With the loss, Arkansas is now 1-8 over its last nine games and fell to 13-21 on the season. The two teams will conclude the series on Saturday afternoon at ONEOK Field. First pitch is scheduled for 12:35 p.m.
