ON THE SCORESHEET

- Andrew Campbell opened the scoring for the Marlies, scoring the eventual game winning goal, midway through the first period. The goal was Campbell's sixth of the season, doubling his previous season high of three. The goal also sent Teddy Bears flying as it was the Marlies annual Teddy Bear Toss game with all bears being donated to Yonge Street Mission.

- Josh Leivo recorded four points (one goal, three assists), including his 100th point as a professional. Tonight was his fourth 3+ point night this season.

- Jonathan Bernier turned aside all 21 shots he faced to earn his second shutout in as many starts with the Marlies.

- William Nylander recorded three points this afternoon as he continues to pace the AHL scoring race with 29 points in 22 games. The Marlies remain undefeated this year when Nylander records a goal (11-0-0-0).

- Richard Clune assisted on the Campbell game winner and added a shorthanded goal, the 100th point of his AHL career.

- Mark Arcobello had a goal and an assist to extend his point streak to three games; he has five points in that span.

- TJ Brennan assisted on the goal by Frederik Gauthier to extend his point streak to four games. He remains second in AHL scoring by defencemen with 21 points through 23 games.

- Scott Harrington recorded his first point as a member of the Marlies, assisting on Josh Levo's third period goal.

- Justin Holl recorded an assist and led all skaters with a plus five rating. He leads all Marlies skaters with a plus 17.

NOTABLES

- The Marlies received scoring contributions from 16 different skaters this afternoon including seven players who recorded multiple points.

- The Marlies have three players in the Top 10 in AHL scoring; William Nylander (1st/29 points), TJ Brennan (8th/21 points), Josh Leivo (9th/21 points)

- Every skater for the Marlies was a plus one or better.

- The Marlies sweep the weekend three in three outscoring opponents 16-1.

- The Marlies remain first in the North Division and second in the Eastern Conference and AHL.
