
Toronto FC Add Ramos, Bernal and Engel in 2015 MLS SuperDraft

Toronto FC announced Tuesday that the club selected forward Micheal Ramos (50th Overall) in the Third Round and forwards Salvador Bernal (70th Overall) and Tyler Engel (81st Overall) in the Fourth Round of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft.
Ramos, 23, split time between Walla Walla Community College, Seattle University and Whitworth University during his collegiate career. During his senior year with the Pirates, he played in 21 matches, registering 14 goals and 12 assists. He was named offensive player of the year for the Northwest Conference.
Bernal, 22, spent the last four seasons at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He appeared and started in 72 matches, scoring 26 goals and adding 16 assists. In 2014, he became the first Rebel in 24 years to be named an All-American, and third in UNLV history.
Engel, 22, spent the last four seasons at the University of North Carolina. He appeared in 80 matches, registering 26 goals and 17 assists for the Tar Heels.
Last week Toronto FC announced that the club selected goalkeeper Alex Bono (6th Overall) along with defenders Clement Simonin (9th Overall) and Skylar Thomas (11th Overall) in the First Round and defender Wesley Charpie (29th Overall) and forward Edwin Rivas (37th Overall) in the Second Round of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft.
