Tony Miles Named CFL Player of the Week

The CFL has named Tiger-Cats wide receiver Tony Miles its Player of the Week in the SPECIAL TEAMS CATEGORY for his solid play against the Montreal Alouettes, in the Tiger-Cats important 29-26 victory Sunday, October 20 in Montreal.

Against the Als, Miles had a total of 228 combined yards, returning 3 punts for 120 yards and catching 4 passes for 95 yards as well as registering a fumble recovery.

To quote Judge Ellison Kelly "Miles was outstanding both on offence and special teams. His kick returns seemed to electrify his team and shift momentum of the game."

The CFL Player of the week honour was a first for Miles!

Nominated as a runner-up was the Tiger-Cats Dana Segin, who was a perfect 5 for 5 kicking field goals in the same game.
