Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to announce that defensive lineman Nate Davis has picked up CFL Lineman-of-the-Week honours.

Davis was unstoppable on the Riders defensive line that held Damon Allen and the B.C. Lions in check last week. Davis had five defensive tackles, knocked down two passes, blocked a field goal attempt, and put tremendous pressure on the quarterback.

This is the first time this year that Davis has received the award. He joins other Riders Paul McCallum, Corey Holmes, Ray Jacobs, Andrew Greene, and Rocky Butler as Rider recipients so far this season.
