Past Week Performance! Toledo finished this past week a perfect 2-0-0-0. Friday night the Walleye struck for six goals and defeated Gwinnett 6-3. Toledo used a three goal second period on Saturday to down the Gladiators again 5-2.

Streaking Along! Toledo is on its best winning streak of the year as the team has won eight of its last 10 contests. The Walleye have won a season-high four consecutive road games. The Walleye have scored 52 goals in the last 10 games. For the season, Toledo is averaging 3.32 goals per game, which is 7th in the ECHL.

Highlight Hedden! Walleye forward Mike Hedden has scored six goals in the last three games for Toledo. He has two goals scored in each of those contests. Mike also collected the game-winning goal in both contests this weekend in Gwinnett.

Power in the PP! The Walleye power play has scored nine goals in its last 37 chances (24.3%). Until Saturday, Toledo had scored at least one power play goal in six straight games. For the season, Toledo's power play is 31-211 (14.7%).

Gametime! The Walleye have a busy weekend ahead with three games in three days. On Friday night, the Walleye will host the Greenville Road Warriors for the first time this season. The Road Warriors are the old Johnstown Chiefs franchise. Ironically Toledo will travel to Johnstown on Saturday night to take on the Wheeling Nailers. Toledo is 1-2-0 against the Nailers this year. On Sunday, the Walleye will host the Kalamazoo Wings at the Huntington Center. Toledo has played the Wings seven times this season and is 3-3-1 against the rivals from the north.

Promotions! Tuesday night is another of the Toledo Walleye Coaches Show. Walleye forward Zack Torquato and defenseman Sebastien Piche will join Head Coach Nick Vitucci and Matt Melzak from 6-7pm at Pizza Papalis in downtown Toledo. Friday night is "White Out" night at the Huntington Center presented at Toledo.com. All fans are encouraged to wear white shirts to the game! The Swamp Shop will have special white Walleye t-shirts available for $10 on Thursday; February 10th. Ohio State football players Devin Barclay, Ross Homan, Bryant Browning and Dexter Larimore will also be on hand for the Friday game!
